Chairman’s Chat NWLRC June 2016
Coming back from the Association Off Land Rover Clubs National Rally held by the Southern Rover Owners Club, it’s hard to think that it is June already, and almost half way into 2016. NWLRC has had a number of events, trial’s, green road runs, shows etc., with members enjoying and helping to put on the events that the committee has planned for the club.
Next weekend (12th June) we have our 1st Comp Safari of the year where we need the most number of members to come and help run the event. marshals are needed around the course to make a safe running of the Comp. This also applies to the Interclub at a new site on Anglesey on August Bank Holiday (26th / 29th August) where again we have a great number of events planned over the weekend.
Along with our normal events that are planned for the rest of 2016 in North Wales, we are putting a team in the War of the Roses competition, (2nd / 3rd July) NWLRC have been going up to The Red Rose Land Rover clubs event for a great number of years (I think the last time I competed in the event was in the late 80’s) And this year we are running one of the tests so please come along and either take part or support the NWLRC Team or again help me run the NWLRC test.
